Songtape vs BandVolt: which app is right for your band
BandVolt is a web app built around feedback on recordings: mix versions, timestamped comments on the waveform, stems, a free EPK, setlists, a calendar, files and band finances. Songtape starts earlier in the process, with the song itself: structure in blocks, lyrics, chords, tabs and demos that the whole band edits together in real time, in Spanish, English, French or German, on the web, iOS and Android. Around it come setlists, concerts, a calendar, a technical rider and shared expenses.
