Songtape vs Songware: which app is right for your band
Songware is a chart and setlist app for playing together: chords above lyrics, songbooks, imports from photos, PDFs and ChordPro, and live sessions where the leader's song and key are mirrored on every member's screen. It runs on phones, desktop and browser. Songtape is for the part before that: writing the songs as a band, with block structure, lyrics, chords, tabs and demos edited by everyone at once, plus a calendar, concerts, a technical rider and shared expenses.
